Though I see the many things
I ought to do and say,
How often have I chosen naught
And gone about my way?

To simply say, "I didn't know."
Will not sufficient be,
For what good will it do to speak
But have no deeds to see?

Can my faith be evident
When I am afraid
To do any work at all
For fear I'd chip my blade?

Through it all I know the truth
Of what I do and say,
And so I will surrender all
Unto the Lord's own way.

Wonderful Alicat, we should all learn to surrender all to the Lord. This is beautiful! Thank you for sharing!

Indeed, the relief one feel's when all is surrendered to the Lord is unmeasurable. Thank you, Alicat, for a beautiful reminder.

Beautiful Alicat! Your words are so true! For faith without works is nothing! Loved it
