My name is Nathan Robinson and I'm an African-American. I really love poetry and I want to share mines with y'll. I was inspired by a rap song called Soul on Ice. It displayed a lot of anger in it. Now I will show y'll my anger. I hope y'll like it.

As I continue to stand on this ledge,
I continue to lose my edge,
with my soul,
because, it has gotten out of control.
Once upon a time, I was a guy with a stress-free mind
but, now I lash out at people like an angry canine.
Origin: God created man and man created politics.
I declined to participate in it, until I was orientated.
I heard 20,000 drivebies
and only 199 was lies.
No surprise,
as crimes constantly rise.
Thine has seen the end,
of a chance for a peaceful world to begin.
In the heat of debate,
my emotions ramble like an earthquake.
I concede to say that I will never find,
my own piece of mind,
in this crazy world, if I continue to act blind.
In a sudden display of rage,
I say, Give 40,000 black angry role models,
take me to D.C. I'll throw the first freaking bottle.
I'm sick of all the disadvantages,
I get for living in these cicumstances
My civil rights,
I sacrifice,
in the name of Jesus Christ,
they got my soul on ice.

Well, Nathan, I certainly see a lot of anger in here, that's for sure. It seems you're mad at the government, but then mad at God for creating man who created government which to me is like being mad Chevrolet because the man who ran over your dog was driving a Corvette...just my opinion, mind you.

While your anger is well displayed, I must admit I thoroughly do not understand the last to lines...Are you still speaking of government here? For the governmnet does nothing in the name of Jesus Christ, but if not them, then whom do you speak of?

Again, it is merely my opinion but maybe one could look to Jesus Christ as a way out of an unfavorible situation instead of blaming Him for being in it. I think we all choose where we want to be in life, once we're of a certain age. You're obviously of that age or you wouldn't be sharing this with us now.

I will pray for you and your situation. I hope you find a peace to soothe you angers. If you ever wish to talk, please feel free to email me. May God bless you.

First things first! WELCOME!
Next, you do sound angry here! What I can say is if your soul is out of control, then let God take control!

I also will pray you find comfort in a VERY loving God!
