Your Smile Your smile touched my face today as the gentle breezes of nature caressed my growing soul. I find myself in awe of your beautiful landscape every glorious minute. I thank you for my senses for they allow me to be mesmerized by your creative hand. I thank you for my knowledge that through my faith in you I will always be safe. You've given me so much my thanks will never end. I give to you my whole being that through me your smile can radiate all whom I encounter. As each day my soul grows stronger with your spirit, likewise your smile will be ever more present. |

Doesnt it feel wonderful to think about the lord smiling at us. A smile can go a long way, brighten someones life, and when God is the one smiling just think how much more our lives are brightened and blessed! Thinking about the Lord smiling at me makes me smile, which in return can make someone else smile and so forth...letting His light shine through me to shine in someone else! The Lord jesus is the image of God, the scriptures say. Jesus said, "If you have seen me, you have seen the Father." Everything that Jesus Christ did mirrored the Heavenly Father. He came to reveal God, to draw all men to Him. Consequently, the followers of Jesus Christ are to be committed to the same task of living in such a way that people can see Him in their lives and bring glory to God. This was the meaning of what Jesus said: "Let your light so shine before men that they will see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven." Now that I have rambl;ed on, great poe, and thank you for sharing it with us all! ------------------ ~*~ Time erases and rewrites all the lines. What remains is the poetry! ~*~ |
