I came to know
God does not answer our "Why?"
We are left to wonder.
Could He not want us to know?
Or is the truth in the fact
We could not understand the answer.
This is what faith is-
Trusting God by accepting our life as it unfolds;
Trusting Him to make all things work for the good of
Those who love Him.

I love the ending to this... It has taken much frustration in my life to come to a point where I do believe, God has a plan and all things happen for a reason. I could not understand this for the life of me for so long...I still don't claim to understand God's reasons at times, but that is where faith grows...in believing all will work for the good of Him and those who love Him. Welcome to the Spiritual Forum, fjones, I hope to see more from you here.

I really liked this! He always answers, just not always how we expect. Sometimes that answer is no. Of course He will only do what is best for us even if we can't see it that way!

This is wonderful! I love it! I long ago stopped asking Why and what a release! We don't need to know everything! Other than that He loves us and cares for us!

You give us all a great thing to think about. Many of us sit and wonder 'why' God does not answer our 'why' questions, but we tend to not relaize the questions we dont know the answers to we do not necassarily need to know because that is where our faith sets in. Thank you for this great poem, it is something wonderful for us all to think about!
