My dear Heavenly Father,
what a great day this has been.
I am so grateful for your love
like no other I have seen.

You shed light to my darkness,
protection from the wind,
offer food for my hunger,
angels to guard in a bind.

You have made beauty
a permanent place
in this unpredictable world
giving us your heavenly grace.

Giving and forgiveness
is all you know;
for us to follow
a joy of constant flow.

I am so grateful to you Father-
I pray you never let me go.

Well darn it, spent the better part of 15 minutes looking for something and I couldn't find it. It reminds me of, and I believe it's in Psalms, it is good to give thanks unto the Lord in the Morning. Something to that affect! Sorry I can't find it at the moment! Great writing!

Would the scripture you were thinking of happen to be Psalm 5:3? "In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation." I could be wring, but that is the scripture I thought of...Anyways, this is definitely a great prayer. We not only need God throughout the entire day every day, but especially in the morning before we face the day. To give us spiritual strength for the day ahead. Great job with this one! AMEN!
