To see without Time's blinders on,
To view each fleeting moment rare,
'Twould make of me a better man
And much more mindful of Time's care!

And if each day when I arise,
I could suppose it as my last,
How blest would seem the glad sunrise
And Challenge to it's last beams cast!

Though captives in a time-bound sphere,
Yet we're not bound by what we see,
And thus can judge what should be dear
And reach out for Eternity.

These eyes, please open, Lord, to see,
With Purpose great and Vison clear,
That as I live, I may e'er be
In all Thy Loving Will and Care!

Amen. It's all about being grateful and not taking anything for granted.

I think I love this place. You guys are so good! If we could only keep in mind to live each day as our last. Enjoyed this much!

Great message. I have to agree with Julie...we should definitely be grateful and not take what the Lord has given us for granted. Great poem!
