my spirit wanders aimlessly,
ever searching for my home.
born into the great unknown,
my soul to ever roam.
my life progresses for me,
to a land so far away.
rejection of the present,
to a time of yesterday.
what brings me to this day and time,
i feel so out of place.
i don't belong here in this land,
the challenge i must face.
i close my eyes and concentrate,
it seems so very real.
i sit upon a great white horse,
in armour made of steel.
i find myself in battle,
beneath the sword and shield.
defending maids of honor,
in some lonely barren field.
the sight of lance, the clash of blade,
ever ringing through my soul.
fright wells up within me,
as i feel the fatal blow.
weakness overcomes me,
sleep intrudes my eyes.
only to awaken again,
amidst a different sky.
time is ever present,
no matter where we are.
we live and live and live again,
till we find our distant star.
me.

Very good read, as I 'ehcho' the above statements! The first 4 lines "my spirit wanders aimlessly, ever searching for my home. born into the great unknown, my sould to ever roam." I have to definitely agree with that statement, I know that my spirit has wandered aimlessly for a long time, but I think it has finally found its home...I just hope it is there to stay! The last two lines, "we live and live and live again,
till we find our distant star." Again hits me, but I cannot describe how. Everything in between was equally as great, but do not think I need to make a long long comment on the whole thing...which I enjoyed very much! Good job once again!
