It's nearly here that time I really love so much
the tree is dressed with all the memories I can find
each has my thoughts and I tingle with each touch
picturing your face with the knowledge I am blind

I lifted my glass as I always do in memory of you
fun, sad or laughter the tree sparkles and glistens
I feel my worries shift away as you come into view
I know inside my heart you're smiling as you listen

For those no longer here but remain forever in our hearts...

Beautiful, RainbowGirl -
My heart also hears the songs of those who are not with me this year.
Love to you ~Marge~

Beautiful indeed RG......!!!!
And I wish you a blessed Holiday, my dear friend...

This is a lovely poem, and many times I have had those same sentiments, which you so well describe.

Memories have got to be the strongest thing I know to help relive a time gone by.  And you have brought many with this one.  Thank you

Thought I had replied, but thought wrong. You are such a caring person, Rainbow. Beautiful poem and Merry Christmas!

Thanks guys...I appreciate the love, friendship and comfort, sometimes Christmas is too much of a reminder..albeit memories I wouldn't be without..
