Who are we to question
if it was fate that brought us here.
Kismet, destiny whatever word suits,
we are bound to our future I fear.

Given a fork in the road of life
we choose to go east or west
if that turn brings us together
who’s to say it’s not for the best.

Everything happens for a reason
the answer should be our quest.
I'm waiting on the Eastern forked road,
hoping that you do not choose west.

I am waiting on this road
for you to join me here
Looking East I see you
coming ever near

Thank you all for your kind comments..it's not a holiday poem, but one that I feel shows how we've all come to meet in this place....

EXACTLY SO Sharon!  I have to say for sure I was led here, cause I found this place totally on accident. Or was it?
This sure does speak to me!

determinism and chance, a purpose within an endless fan of possibilities?  Both are present, both are at odds, both are entwined in the nature of existence.  Good poem.

Poet deVine -

Good ... very good.

I tend to take the road less travelled ... seems the nicest folks use the same tracking skills ... I'll look for you on the 'other' side of the road.
