Lady
Lady
Wrote some verse.
Couldn't figure
which was worse;
Folks that laugh
or folks that curse.

She gently placed it
in a drawer
hidden there
with several more.
Hidden from the prying eyes,
Sheltered from such cruel lies.
A gentler death?
A sweeter sleep?
Her words unspoken
only weep
For wing and sky
to soar within;
to live or die
upon the wind!

So which the worse,
then - laugh or curse?
Or one who buries living verse?

I like your poem, Kevin, but methinks the photo is not current?

Beautiful verse.
Ladies don't 'bury' your verse,
we 'tuck' it away for tripping
through memories in another time.

APPLAUDS!!! This is fantastic. And in answer to your question, since I've been there, definately burying the verse. I love the flow to this one and the rhyme, not to mention the great content. Looking forward to more
