To those I've loved before,
This Christmas I think of you,
I wonder how you're fairing,
Do you sometimes remember as I do?

This year has had it's blessings for me,
I hope you've had a few too,
But on the dawning of a new millenium,
There is still something left for me to do.

To let you all know I am still here,
Still standing tall, proud and strong,
I do wonder what could of been,
How we would have got along.

I've overcome adversity,
Overcome the pain of letting go,
Overcome being turned away,
Cos you had another didn't I know?

My lifeforce is strong,
Though you weakened it it's true,
But this Christmas my heart is filled
With love overflowing even for you.

I have the courage and strength to stand alone,
To fight my battles and win,
And when I receive the crown of crowns,
I'll look down and see you grin.

My cup it runneth over,
With peace and love you see,
I know my calling,
My heart is at last set free.

So I send this love and knowledge back to you,
Hope you have it in your lives,
I hope life is as good to you,
Filled with hellos rather than goodbyes.

Reach inside your heart, that is the greatest gift you can bestow. Merry Christmas..

Isis,
Wanted so much to read this but for some reason the green letters don't show up on my screen. I'm sure it's beautiful coming from your pen,
Merry Christmas!

Lovely Isis   Your big heart is showing again!!

btw....I agree with you about this green color here...it is blinding!

A soul that writes from the heart and shares it, truly gives a gift extraordinaire!

A fine sentiment here Isis.  Well done.  As for the bright green... I had to highlight the script before I could read it... just a hint for future readers.
