Now and always
Our love will be
With open hearts
And feelings free
Now and always
Day after day
As time decays
Lover's we'll stay
With open arms
And kisses sweet
You and I will
Share lives complete, and

In days unmarked
Long beyond time
Our souls will shine
Visions sublime
Etched by the love
You and I found
One for eternity
Unbound

My good friend Sir Balladeer... What has you up so late this evening? What ever the reason you have my most sincere thanks for looking in.  Your comments are most valued. I gave this as a present to my wife today... a monthly celebration of our wedding on the 22nd of May.  Haven't missed one in 6 1/2 years.  You know you've done good when they cry from happiness.  Take care my friend and have a safe and happy holiday season.

Oh so sweet and romantic.  Your wife is a lucky lady.  Have a happy holiday!

In the dew of little things,
the heart finds its morning
and is refreshed.

As for me... My work day has come to a close and I'm going home.  Catch you all later. Sleep tight one and all.

It's Christmas Eve and I'm hangin' at work for a couple of hours... radio knows no sleep and I've got to pay my dues just like everyone else around here.  Just wanted to send out a big Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all.

A superb poem Andrew but can I give you a word of warning?

I once heard tell of a great poet who tore his hair out just READING a fourfold Acrostic, the poor soul that wrote it went quite mad and hasn’t been seen since. I look forward to reading more of your poetry but would hate to see the same fate befall such a masterful poet as yourself.

Yes, I admit your general rule. That every poet is a fool:
But I myself may serve to show it. That every fool is not a poet.

Andrew....so very beautiful, both the piece and the gift....!!!!
Merry Christmas to you and yours....and a Happy Anniversary although belated
Such love brings joy to my heart!!

A soul that writes from the heart and shares it, truly gives a gift extraordinaire!

Another fine piece of
Work this is,
Every thought rings loud and clear.
Shinning bright as the sun
On a summers day. leaving
Me speachless with your words;
Eched in my heart, as well as on the paper.

Merry Christmas Scott, what a wonderful gift for your wife...and not to worry, I had to work all Christmas Eve too...seems hospitals don't stop for Christmas either

Good poem
Really liked it
Enjoyable
Acrostics can be a pain (I've tried)
Terrific

Nail to the mast her holy flag,
Set every threadbare sail-
And give her to the god of storms,
The lightning and the gale!
