As the New Year approaches us all
and Christmas Eve is just days away
both good and bad is what we'll recall
as we make resolutions to have better days

I hope we can remember the past can be good
for all play a part in someone's past
times when we may have been misunderstood
a smile shared not knowing it was the last

Each Christmas Eve I take time to think back
on the friends I love or have lost to forever
the moments we shared of which I'd lost track
how the memory does work is really so clever

I'll raise my glass as I reflect on moments shared
the smiles the pleasures the tears and the hugs
the times we all argued but with knowledge we cared
as I celebrate and wish everyone - Peace and Love

ahhh rainbow this is beautiful, and yes I agree, have been doing the same, thinking back along the year, and this year, I count myself really blessed with you as my friend.....big hugs and lift your glass one time for me this time

It is a wonderful time to look back and remember. It's a wonderful time to give thanks for what we have and to pray for the ones less fortunate then ourselves that they to can be thankful for the little things that make their lives complete. Cheers to you for a wonderful poem, may your Christmas be filled with happiness and joy.

It's sometimes strange to look back and then notice where you are now. How things change and how quickly life goes by in just moments huh?

Time passes so quickly....another year gone, but I think 2000 will be a much better year... afterall, we've all come together here and founded the Passions Peaceful Place.. our own community of friends... thank you, Cindy for listening..for sharing.. and most of all, for the HUGS !
