Familiar Road

Youíve been hurt
And feel betrayed.
Youíre walking the road
That I have paved.

Iíve been there before,
It leads nowhere.
And youíll wander
About in despair.

Forgiving others
Is the key
Take my hand,
Place trust in me.

Weíll do this together,
Side by side.
Throughout this journey,
Iíll be your guide.

Iíll light the path
That looms ahead
I promise
You wonít be misled.

Finding salvation
Is the key,
The only way to set
You free.

Then your suffering
Will find release.
May your heart
Be at peace.

 It matters not how strait the gate;
How charged with punishments the scroll;
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
--W.E. Henley

THis a very good poem.

Dear Tara,

Familiar roads, familiar heartache, familiar pains are all eased by the companionship of a caring heart.  You show time and again through both your actions and your heartfelt friendship that you will always light the path for those who you come alongside.

bureaucracy (and safe, secure blanket) of this environment
to pursue my own purpose and passion.

Ruth, Rod, MySlinky, Denise:  Thank you all.

Julie, how true.  Having a friend does make the journey so much easier to bear.

Severn:   You can use the word exquisite to describe my work anytime you like!
