Double Trouble

To those passionate friends who aren't aware
There's double trouble in the air
Computer virus in a deadly way
To hit computers on Christmas Day
An e-mail marked "Lump of Coal" is just a lie
Don't open it or all your files will die

And then there is that Y2K
That promises doom on New Years Day
Just follow close the steps I say
And everything will be A-OK

Double click on "My Computer"
Double click on "Control Panel"
Double click on "Regional Settings" icon
Click the "Date " tab at the top of the page
Where it says "Short Date Sample", look and see
if it shows a "two digit" year.
Of course it does. That's the default setting for Windows 95, Windows and Windows 98
Click on the button across from "Short Date Style"
And select the option that shows:
mm/dd/yyyy  or  m/d/yyyy
Be sure your selection has four Y's showing
Then click "Apply". Then click "OK" at the bottom.

Thank you
Liz

Only you would write this into a poem!

Why don't you e-mail it to people too?

You're a wonder.

Yes, this has been e-mailed to many, I just didn't want any of the poets to overlook this. I hope everyone reads this.

Well, then, let's keep it up at the top!

Thanks, Elizabeth.
