Gentle

Gentle awakening sunrise
tiptoeing in the reflective glow
of rippling river tides.

Gentle starry morning kiss
planted upon sleepy eyes
opening to meet a new day.

Gentle warming of sands
creating a cushion of harmony
for the treasures of the day to unfold.

Gentle wind swept vapors
caressing smiling faces
strolling through their serene universe.

Gentle evening sunset
dancing slowly over land
as the moon grasps the evening glow.

Marge,Ruth, & Pepper thank you all very much, this poem was inspired as I looked out the train window and saw the sun rising over a body of water. I felt it looked so beautiful at that moment, so that led me to share it's beauty with all of you here. Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did.
