This poem is basically true. I just added some lines to give it some pep.

The time that feared most has come.
We used to be together as one.
But today, we will go our seperate ways.
Baby, please don't cry
because, it was meant for you and I
Even though I have to say gooodbye,
our love for one another will never die.
While you'll be headed to Georgia,
I'll be headed for Florida.
I will miss you very much
because, only you got that midas touch.
I love you like no other
because, you are my lover.
I wish you the best of luck in the future
because, you turned me into a winner when I was a loser.
Thank God for you
because, you've made my dreams come true.
Now wipe your weepy eyes
and give me a long and passionate kiss of goodbye.

This is sad, Nate. I'm sorry that it's true.

wow, this is heart wrenching... especially the last line, reminds me of something (or someone).  I hate sad endings!
