This poem was written in dedication to a friend of mine, as you can see by the name...
----------------------------------------------------
Oh, my dearest Michelle...
I know I have put you through hell.
I hope you're able to believe
That I really am sorry to make you grieve.
I hope you can fathom the strength
To go to such length
As to one day forgive me
For all the pain I've caused thee.
I love you from the bottom of my heart,
And I'd hate to see us completely fall apart.
I know I must give you time
And let you see me make that climb
Back up to being a healthy and trustworthy friend,
Who can win you back after your heart has had a chance to mend.
I know it can never be the same
And for that I, of course, take the blame,
But I have hopes that maybe one day
It can be better and we'll be able to say
That we have grown stronger
And our friendship may last for eternity and longer...

If you love something, set it free, if it comes back to you, its meant to be...

Beri -
A true friend's apology
even if not eventually accepted ...
is a sign of great maturity
and honesty.
I hope your friend accepts these
lovely words from your heart.

Thanks to you Marge...
That sure is what I am aiming at, a true apology, I just pray she gets the point also.

Beri: I never think apologies are neccesary between friends although we all make them, but deep inside, we know our friends and why they say or do what they do and I guess, that's why they are our friends because we love and know them, inside out.

Rainbow, I never used to think apologies were necessary either, I agreed with you 100% and I still basically do, just sometimes, this time, I think it was definitely needed.  Thank you so much for the hugs!!  Much needed and appreciated!
