Full Moon

As the sunsets
on my environment
shining still on another's
beyond the skyline….
I look to the East
for the somber red warmth
of my full moon
wishing on it then
letting it go
to be held by others
past the horizon.

I like this, Robert.
Of course, I'm maniacal about the moon.
Beautiful.

You and Marge are on the same track.
This is lovely, and spoken in few words

That is short, but very effective in the way you put the words.
A poem I like very much!

What a lovely little piece!  I too, love the moon!  It is so mysteriously wonderful - almost powerful!  Thanks for sharing her with others like me!

Pfff, thanks for letting her go Robert. What would I have done without the moon over here tonight.....she's beautiful, just as your poem. : )
Merry Christmas to you !
