Little Girl Days Are Gone Now

Little girl days are gone.
Its time to take control.
Finally get your life straight.
Move forward to your goal.

You let life get to you
you bowed down to your pain.
Don’t just lay there crying
get on your feet again.

Show them that your stronger
then they believe you are.
Stand up to your fears girl
stop wishing on a star.

You can make your own way
don’t count on others now.
You know that you can make it
you'll survive somehow.

You’ll feel so much prouder
if you do it on your own.
Little girl days are gone now.
Your a woman now, your grown.

With perseverance even the snail reached the Ark.

it was really a nice poem. i noticed that you expressed your feelings that you have growned up and your poem is the proof of it.

You said it girl! I am so glad to see you rise above your struggles! I hate to see "frustrations" get the best of fabulous people like yourself! You have made me proud, by rising above, and being strong and patient in the roughest of times! And I'll say it again, I am soooo glad to see you back here, writing, which is where you belong!
