You
are the
spreading tree
beneath which
I shelter
~
your voices
glow Christmas lights
on boughs
in love’s true season

and you sing ballads dear
artists so true
flying white doves
my family
of poets divine

I wish
we could gather
by Christmas snow
or under my
summer’s sun

toasting the cheer
of good friends
and beloved ones
together
the miles of distance
forsaken

we could share
beneath our tree
the telling of hearts
entrusting

and smiles we’d see
glean gifts from a hug
felt, not sent
through a distant machine

My friends
my kin
I’m inviting you there
‘neath our tree
thriving in imagination
this Christmas
my day will include
warm thoughts
for you
my dearest apart
and so far

I love you all.

Kamla

So precious this is Kamla, just like you.

the heart finds its morning
and is refreshed.

Severn - (Kamla)

A loving heart
as big as yours
cannot help but draw ...
all the friends who
want to come and share
in your Christmas Ball.

We will join
beneath your tree,
singing oh, so merrily.
Your summer sun
could not compare
to the warmth your heart
does surely wear.

If I could sprout wings
I'd surely be
found beneath
your merry tree.

We'd love to join you,
with songs to sing,
gifts of love to share
and hugs to bring.

Love ~*Marge*~

Come
sit beneath
our family tree
and listen to our
poetry
In
love we speak
our words of rhyme
across the miles
for all
time.

You are a lovely person, Kamla. It's a joy to know you! We all will meet someday, guaranteed!

Wonderful Severn. . .

Like the words, very powerful. . . I also would like to say that I love the way that you formatted this. . . like a tree. . . shows the depth of the words. . .

Excellent work. . .
