Inside these walls of fabrication
society sits in the dark.
Eternity for contemplation
could not prevent a world so stark.

We try to rise above ourselves
and watch as we together fall.
Then place the past upon our shelves
and add a brick on to the wall.

The two most waisted things in life are time and potential, I have both and not a clue what to do with them.

Very nice, Kevin. You seem to be wise beyond your years!

Perhaps an eternity for comtemplation would do some good - for we'd be so busy thinking
we wouldn't have a chance to cause any harm!!

I like this, Kevin.

very nice........and as you pile those bricks of stones.....Remember to leave room for a door....for a window if you might..For a time will come when you will set yourself free

Kevin...I second First Knight on this one. Walls sometimes not only keep others out, but also ourselves in.

Kevin,
Our society has built too many walls. But that is changing as we address ourselves to the rest of the world. I am optomistic. You are one of the reasons.
