Why can't I find the keys I used
Just a few seconds before
The telephone distracted me
As I was walking through the door?

And I can't locate where I put
The glasses that I wear each day
Or remember what I did with
The gas bill I intend to pay.

Yet my memory's a steel trap
For facts I'd just as soon forget:
The right weight for a man my height,
The current level of my debt.

And I can repeat verbatim
Words from useless ancient songs.
So I have memory enough.
I just forget where it belongs.

Dom Mart -

Were you watching me?
I gingerly searched for my keys?
Or did you perhaps see
them turn off the lights on me?

BEEN THERE .. DONE THAT !
But, like you .... I keep on singing those songs !!
Thanks for this one ... glad to know someone else has those 'senior moments'.
