In quiet havens
have I sought you,
(as a mind will be drawn to a knot
in the labor of pull and tug)
and always lounging about
on some lesser thought
you would address me.

Talking to me of love
of poetics
in margins of metaphors -
forever indulging
then barging
through my ideality
(as though you own the place...)

And yes I can say
you have purchased the night sky -
brought it down upon your eyes
bidding me to gaze
then wish on the stars I see there

this
now
and ever again
will
I love you
for the dreamer has awakened.

I remember when I first learned that stars are dust.  We are forever dreaming and waking up.  Souls are less predictable than stars, and perhaps more beautiful for being unexpected.
