Computers play a flawless game
Based on microscopic cues.
They win so often, they just can't
Imagine how it feels to lose.

XP-8 is still appalled
At the opponent who turned thug
And, furious at losing,
Pulled XP-7's plug.

The lesson was not wasted.
XP-8 is still alive,
Because it's wise enough to let
Humans win one game in five.

Lol.  I'm not laughing at you or the poem just it reminds me so much of stories that I've heard.  Once I heard a story about a computer playing chess (Maby it was Draughts) against a chimp that had been trained.  The chimp always lost obviously and wouldn't play.  They re-programed the computer to loose one time in three and the chimp played.

I'm not sure If that story is true.  However I like your poem as it adds something to theory and thought.  I don't know If a computer would care about being turned off but If it did I'm sure that it could come up with a similar reaction
