           Transfixed

Transfixed in lights illusion
Eyes on dreamy space,
I watched the dust like amber snow,
Descend upon her face.

Her features fixed like marble,
Stayed steady, still of goal.
Emanating waves of heat,
That seared my very soul.

The cloak of night wrapped around
And truth nowhere about.
The fullness of my loss appeared
And brought the madness out.

My tears became an ocean,
My sighs became a swarm,
And raged and raged within me,
Like lightening in a storm.

And I was split of Adam force
Split apart in two domain
And not until they join once more
Will I become whole again.

So now at night, I tear and cry
And sit in flights of senseless why?

The poet emerges from the tower
And flaunts his eloquent verbal power
And listens not to tower's toll
But to the music in his soul
Exquisite

So glad to hear your poet's voice again Sy.
And this is divine.

Why's are never senseless, the are just hard to live through.

Tones of sadness, I can relate. This is a wonderful expression, Seymour. Welcome back.

A very sad poem. Have ask why so many times myself. A lot of times I never got an answer.
Nicely done.

Sunshine,
Thank you so much. All I kept getting on the sight was please wait, they were fixing it.
Waited three days and wrote to Ron. He said it was up. Well I'm back and can't say how much I missed you wonderful people. Sy
Elizabeth,
I think I missed you most of all.
Etherial is as close as I can,
Floats o'er my mind of thee.
The colors of a rainbows span,
A halo only I can see.
Severn,
Can't tell you how much I missed you.
Thank you so much for the read and lovely comment.
Denice,
Glad to be back, thank you for the comments.
Ohme,
There may be answers, but I haven't found them yet. Thanks for the read.

Well, Sy, I don't think the words a goo like Hoot does. I think they're good! Nice to see you back!

quote:
The shadings of my day.
The shadows of the things I know
And pass before my way.
Your presence walks besides me,
Invisible to the eye.
But as real as any carefree
My eye can see or spy.
So etherial is as close as I can,

Got the message - Thanks Sy....

Such heartfelt sadness.  Now, I know you can not be this blue???
Honestly, I admire your work even more with each new piece.
BTW...don't get lost anymore, k??

Sally,
Just rub my lamp with one remark
And I'll be back just like a spark. *L*
