Counting My Blessings
~Marge Tindal~ 1999

On this day
I am reminded again,
that I couldn't have
a nicer friend.

Sometimes I get so busy
with things that I must do.
I turn around, the day is gone,
I have not talked with you.

Early in the morning
you slipped into my mind.
I hope that you are doing well
and that life to you is kind.

I know that you will understand,
why I think this way.
You are the kind of friend
that I think about each day.

I consider myself lucky
to have a friend or two.
And when I count my blessings,
I often start with you.

Yes, you are, Seymour.
And I'm glad to have you in my
life, my thoughts and my heart.

This is beautiful Marge. Although I'm new to "The Fam", you have a friend in me as well! This is a great reminder to pick up the phone, make time to talk with or email call someone you love. Thank you!!!!!

LostBoy -

In case you haven't noticed,
you are no longer 'NEW' ...
we have taken a quite a fancy
to little ole' you.

I hope you'll not allow,
the thought to call a friend,
to croak as 'only words'
upon the page you did send.

Once I had a friend
that rocked me to the core.
While I put off writing ...
my friend put off living
forevermore.

*The story is true ... call or write TODAY!

I hope to be among the ones you think of now and then
Incidently, do you live near Brandon (SP?)
That's where I'll be going to visit my nephew

need I say this to you,
you are a friend

new day's start.

Marge...

When I count my blessings
The first place that I start
Is those that touch the deepest part
Those that touch my heart
And when I start of counting
In numbers one by one
I start off with my dearest friends
Of which, Marge, you are one

Oh, Hoot thank you.

Like you,
I count in full-measure
the friends of my making,
of which you are a treasure.

Marge,
Thank you for those words
My blessings include you
To heed your advise and call
Is something I will do

I just called my parents and my brother who live far away (really, I did!!!)

LostBoy -
You really did bring tears
to the eyes of this lady.
Nothing even close to knowing
how you touched someone today
with a remembered call.
Bless you for letting me know.
Isn't it a wonderful feeling
deep down in your heart?
You just made my day !
And I'll just bet you made theirs too.
~Marge~

Kevin -
Thank you for that lovely rhyme.
As long as I draw breath ...
you will not have to do without
my loving friendship.

LostBoy - *she demurely blushes*
*Thank you*

Marge,

If friendship were a song,
You'd be the one most sung.
If friendship were a ladder,
You'd be on the highest rung.

If friendship were a poem
You would be my favorite rhyme
And you can count on me, my friend,
Until the end of time.

Marge, I have to ask you.
This I'd like you to do.
If you can make a bit more room
then make some room for me too!

Balladeer -
I have come to know
that you are a friend so true.
If I was picking again
I'd be sure that I picked you.

OhMe -
I've been reading
and I suppose it's true,
I get to count your friendship
and OhMY comes with you !
That's a double blessing
or is it a triple one?
Throw in MyLord ...
WOW, I get three for one !

Severn -
A part of the family
is just what I intend,
I simply love the part
of letting another in.

Eloise -
Beautiful is making friends
to last a whole life through.
Meaningful is knowing
that they feel the same as you do.

*Thanks to each of you for your
friendship and for liking this.
