Upon this screen in front of me
I flash some words for all to see.
I share with you some thoughts tonight.
Then back to me, kind words you write.

The poetry that is posted here
Is full of heart and so sincere.
The minds of some are so profound.
They are the best I've seen around.

Some verses hit the funny bone.
While others have a somber tone.
And then there's those that melt the heart.
The talent here is a fine tuned art.

I think that it is safe to say,
At one time you've all felt this way.
The bond in here is very strong.
That's why you all have stayed so long.

I think that I can learn so much.
This place sure has that magic touch.
I know that I can not compare.
But perhaps someday I can be there.

From site to site I did roam.
I'm glad I wandered into your home.
This is the place I want to be.
With open arms you welcomed me.

Into the portals of friendship you came,
when first you penned and posted.
You belong with all of us,
on Passions we are hosted.

We sit at the hearth
with many friends ...
each one welcoming
others in.
Always room for more good rhyme ...
welcome, Eloise ...
you're a friend of mine.

Perfection in rhyme! Beautifully done!
Welcome to our home! You will fit right in I'm quite sure. I think we have all written one like this, but for sure I have not done as well! Thank you!

Welcome Eloise! Really glad to have you here. We love to see new people and hope you really enjoy your stay with us. I feel like it's a big family around here and even though I don't post often I really love the encouragement I receive when I do. Again welcome.

Hey Eloise - Welcome Aboard.... We're glad you're here - and I'd have to venture to say that you can certainly hold your own here.... I have only one question for you...

Did ya ever catch a Jackalope?..

Thank you Severn for the welcome and to you too Balladeer. Thanks for the tip.

Nan - Thanks to you too and Absolutely!

Those rare little bunnies to which you refer.
Just like leprechauns, they try to be obsure.
Running and jumping, under bushes they hide.
But in my backyard they do reside.
So if a jackalope you wish to see.
Then come on over and visit with me.

Greater hearts you'll never find
Words to stir most any mind
Comedy and suffering
Rant about most anything

What we share in this fine place
Friendship, Love with out a face
Many hands to hold you high
People help you search the sky

Welcome to this happy home

Great poem!! And it says a lot for Ron that he's made a place where people wander in and stay... or rush out to pull their friends in, too! LOL. Welcome!
