To Liz and others an explanation of my brain.

Cain and Able

My symptoms are Cain and Able of the brain.
For when I read my poetry it seems quite plain.
And the manifestation is my bane,
For I cannot one or the other sustain.

I'll write a sonnet on whimsies beauty
Without a thought and surely weep within
And then my mind goes a little fruity.
And the shadow of Cain slyly peeks in.

We are at odds and there seems little hope,
I've tried stands and hands and lots of prayer
But I fear that none of these does really cope.
And in fact over this I've lost my hair.

But of late we have made a pact it seems
When Cain takes over I give him the chair.
And he writes of all his lecherous schemes.
And Able cleans up with a sweep of sweet flair.

Now it has come to a very fine point.
And It's the best of each we do anoint.

Sy
It seems that Cain is then is the bane
His poetry you think quite plain
But he would like to be more stable
And would certainly be, if he were Able
But Able or not I simply chide
I prefer Mr, Jeckell over Hyde (Sp.?)

Liz,
Then Jeckell it will be.
So be it I decree.

It seems that Sy is very good
the words for ladies really "get her",
what I really think he is more like,
is a lot of salt and pepper!
