*We had to write a poem today in class, and we only had 5 minutes to write it, so this is what I came up with. It's okay, I guess.

For as the sun seems to break
and over the glistening, tranquil lake
The stems of green stealthily blow
by the hawk's nest covered with snow
But 'twas when the nightfall hit
did all the rocks and fire split
Causing summer's eve to turn to night
the heat from the sun now far from sight
Nature is taken for granted each day,
stop and listen to what it has to say
If you'd take some busy time out
and take a detour from your route
To sit by the glistening, tranquil lake
and listen to the beauty as it spake.

Blondie,
The poem is fine,
For I read between the lines.

In 5 minutes
Creation told
I see the lake
I feel the cold
I see the beauty
Of which you write
Reflected in
Your words tonight

For 5 minutes...you've created a vision that will last a lot longer. Good Job
