A girl I know
Lives on her own
Her years don't show
Nor pain she's known

Independant
So strong and proud
Spirit-sent
Above the crowd

Her art is a blessing
Her love so strong
Her pain I am guessing
Folded in for so long

With rapturous joy
I'll sing her praise
With one word from her
My heartsong raised

Knows not her worth
She stirs my soul
If she were my earth
I'd be her blind mole

She frees my mind
And soothes my heart
With words so kind
She's my other part

DON'T EVER GO
FOR I WOULD DIE
I'D MISS YOU SO
YOU ARE MY SKY

Peace to you, Jennifer.
May you be blessed on this special day, that has been filled with both tears and joy.

David

This is very beautiful, and sincere. I don't know the story behind it, but I have a feeling it's a good one...one that probably brings tears....I'm sure this means alot to her....whoever the lucky girl is!
Thanks for sharing such an intimate piece.

Thank-you David, this is the best, most sincere present anyone has ever given me. You are truly an honest and upfront friend.
My birthday will be special with thoughts of your gift.

Thank-You,
