What echoes of love
brought me to this place?
What forces above
bring my passion low?
Would embracing hate
help lessen disgrace?
Is it far too late
to reap what I sow?

Is love redemption
for sins of the past?
Is there exemption
from the human race?
Can fresh pain atone
for doubts miscast?
What suffering known
will kindness erase?

What question's answer
will set my soul free?
What unknown cancer
drives me from my mind?
Do the tides of fate
still turn against me?
How can I relate
when I feel maligned?

Might joy in my Art
embrace my curse?
Does wisdom impart
a more noble creed?
Must I feel so numb
when I write my verse?
Does justice succumb
to exigent need?

Is numbness not safety sometimes? It's not always a bad thing...
Here for you dear friend.
Fantastic poem - as usual!
hey - do what I said and go look in the mirror OK?

I like not what the mirror sees for it reflects not the truth of me.

Christopher, I will be glad to share any answers with you, but I fear there are none.

I like the rhyme scheme too. Very well done. These are questions I can't answer.
