Impotent Boys

Nonresistant to
women weaving dreams
into webs with words
from smooth tongues slapping
on soft palates
enticing lures to little fishes
swimming in this
pond-ering of thoughts
with meanings obscured
through murky waters.

Don't quite know what I want to say about this, except that it struck me, and I like it! Great job. :-)

I wrote this poem today at lunch in response to a poem posted in another forum by a woman. I was enthralled by the poem... captivated by it. All night I dreamt of it....I felt wrapped in its words somehow.

No disrespect to any woman here Nan. More like a tribute I think.

I really liked this Robert, kind of allusive, but captivating. I tried to capture the meaning but it slithered from my grasp into the murky waters.
