OUR SONG
by ©Richard J. Budig

Listen...
Quietly,
Softly,
Gently,
My song of love for you
Is borne upon a gentle wind...
Whispers of love...
Sighs of contentment...
Moments suspended...
Time surrendered...
Heaven in gossamer...
You enfolded within...
And I within you...
Stillness...
Stillness...
Hear the gentle wind?
It murmurs our song
To the virginal moon.
