Moments

A moment passed, a moments time,
They mint within my mind like thyme.
Some are pungent and some are sweet
But good or bad they all repeat.

They waver and flavor in my thoughts
Visioned with pictures time had caught
Lay and portray in endless display
Phenomenons of a past array.

They focus essence in theme and dream
Always changing a little I mean.
Some tend to pour like pools of honey
And others pour in smiles and funny.

They sustain me in my times of need
They pay me back in kind and deed.
They are the savings of my leisure,
And the measure of my treasure.

Each moment sown in time a gem,
Make the settings worthy of them.

You described this well! I know just how it is to have the good and bad moments repeat themselves~mine often do.

Seymour - Your poetry just whisks me away to places I've surely been ... but never with such flavor.
You are masterful in rhyme.

Sy,
So glad you're back
I thought you went
The time you're gone
Was not well spent
Couldn't think of
Anything to write
That is to say,
Until tonight
You are a source
Of inspiration
So please don't go
On a vacation
Your poem is lovely
I must say
Any moment of the day

Elizabeth

'Tis you that inspire most, my friend
For you I picked up golden pen
And wrote a verse that's very true
Of a golden poet, and that is you

Elizabeth,
By gold you mean the value thereof?
But that's in all the common whereof.
Thank you and *L*

Sy,
By gold I certainly do mean worth
The aesthetic worth of poetry
And the Richness of the verse
And the value it has to me
And the wealth of your wisdom
The beauty of your soul
The beauty of the person you are
Worth much more than gold

Ohme,
Remember each moment a gem,
Thank you.
Nan,
You picket out the best of the best of the bunch *L*
Elizabeth,
You know my wife is the realist
And I the idealist.
If I only could borrow a little of you
And put it in a stew.
We could eat our way to an earthly heaven
Heaven, heaven, heaven.

Sy
I don't know Sy, I'm just a little proud
And I feel that three is just a little crowd
I'm an all-or-nothing girl, which you surely knew
Besides that, I won't be eaten in a stew!

Where do you get these wierd notions!?

Liz,
Didn't have a chance to say goodnight
Severn,
I thank you again and again,
Some for now and some for then.
