And it is time for letting go…

of dreams held long and dear
wishes in the wind
Reality sets in and shows
its cruel sneer
Trust is only found
in dust, it is
Faith…crushed
The hands of the
clock paint in gray
the long road ahead
and what's in store
is worse than
what came before
And the gray is not
important when
all the colors will
go…time ticks by
though, and moves
away from here
Strangled by the
waiting and more
anticipating but now
fingers unbend,
release the dreams
they know…

it is time for letting go

Hmmmmmm...is this a poem based on numbers..*g*

What happened?

Ooops, the poem wasn't here when I replied...Did I really drink that much cognac...:-)) and strangely, I still can't see it in this window...*put the glass down Rainbow and stop listening to music and re-adjust your set*...I'll come out and try again..

HUGS

*sigh*...Caroline, can read it now, such a shame when dreams have to be let loose but possibly, they weren't worthy of the love you had to give...and I know that doesn't help, nothing does but maybe there is a man out there that will treasure your heart and care for it instead of stamping on it...I hope so!

Sigh...you have yet again written your heart so beautifully. Wish there was something I could do to ease your pain. Does knowing I love your poetry help?! Many hugs. K

Caroline, I must agree. This is the best writing I've seen from you. I'm sorry for the sadness it took to create it.
