Me and my friends

It was many years ago when me and my friends would play.
Outside in the school yard durring the hot noon of day.
Those times were fun.
And its sad that they are done.
Me and my friends would play all day long.
The whole way through singing a song.
Now the times have changed.
And there is noone to blame.
Because such is the way of the world.
Those who were once my friends
Are now strangers to he end.
And the songs of joy have turned to gloom.

Yes, some of the friends from our youth are no longer close friends. But, on a bright note, every day brings the opportunity to make new friends!

Jarid, we sometimes lose our friends to circumstances of life. This does not reduce the pleasure we had from their friendship. Hold on to what you can.
