There Will Come Soft Rains ~Marge Tindal~ 1999 Footsteps silent in the new-grown grasses, bending softly under my feet. I walk gingerly across the great divide between you and me. Footprints left on the path I take that brings me closer to you. Tenderly I surrender whatever vestige of pride I wore. What a lovely way to put it! I get a feeling of "the quiet after the storm" BIG in this one Eagerly awaiting, but not rushing or too anxious for, the soft rains of cleansing and new life. Lovely.------------------ Life is what you make of it... Not what you let it be |
