The mark of a true woman So many people think Is long sleek legs And satiny, smooth cheeks She must be thin With a firm , tight butt Nice rounded breasts Looking "pedigree" and not "mutt" But I'm here to tell you Thats not reality A TRUE woman is made Of many more things, you see You will occassionally see Dark cirlces under her eyes. From staying up late And calming little cries. Her hair will be neat Though not always styled. If she claims to have "time" She is surely in denial! Her legs might be long But not always tight..... And lots of stretch marks Are kept out of sight! Her breasts slightly sag From the children shes' nursed. But she can still produce cleavage And shes' always ready first. In one single hour She can handle 5 things. Be a chauffer, cook, and doctor Therapist, friend, and still sing! Theres' a smile on her face Even though she is beat Shes' a mother, lover, and friend..... A REAL woman.....thats me! ------------------ Spoongirl28 The time to live is now...... |

Wonderful poem. And how true it is. Chalk one up for all the real women. I am also the friend, the mother, and the lover (well, hopefully i'll eventually be someones lover  |
