As I walk out the door,
I don't look back.
I'm afraid it will hurt too much.
I am leaving my home,
But I will always have the memories.

As I get into the car,
A single tear falls down my cheek,
But I don't wipe it away,
I let it fall,
And drive away.

I am begining a new life,
at a new house.
But it will never be my home.
"Home is where the heart is",
and my heart is where the memories lie.

Sad, but lovely

Yesterday is history, tomorrow just a mystery. And if today is good to me how could I ask for more?

Lovely poem, Laura! Memories are precious, but just remember this....new ones are created everyday!
