The dream I just had vanished from sight.
Like the mist that slips through the night.
I wake up with a strange feeling inside.
Elusive dream, why do you hide?

Was the dream of someone from my past?
It seemed to come and go so fast.
Perhaps a dream of what's to come.
This fog in my head seems so troublesome.

I fear that I may never see
This dream that seems to follow me.
I wake up trying hard to recall.
But nothing comes to mind at all.

Tonight I will have the dream again.
And this night I hope it will be a friend.
When I awake I hope to find,
This dream that capitivates my mind.

Such a lovely poem on dreams! I love it! Those dreams can sure be elusive, can't they?
Welcome to Passions, Eloise!

All my dreams are elusive..I never remember them. You captured the way I feel exactly! Good poem.

Keep on Dreamin!!!
I can't always remember mine either.
I'd rather dream and not remember than not dream at all.

Nice piece

Welcome, Eloise. Very, very nice.

Dreams elusive,
not conclusive.
Ah, but real enough
to want to be captured.
