A sister is more that someone who's related to you. A sister is a friend. Sure she acts like she can't stand you (and most of the time she probably can't). But she still loves you. And when it comes down to it, she would do anything to prevent you from getting hurt. Laura, dear Laura - You would have had no way of knowing beforehand, just what this poem meant to me ... especially at this holiday time. I lost my younger sister last month and thoughts of her have been with me all this very day. Love and enjoy your sister, hon. I did mine .. and that's why it hurts so much not to be able to now share that love with her.
