a sad day it was my best friend left me,
I feel so small just the size of a pea.

she just turned on me and walked away.

puddles of tears at my feet, I can't hear her
voice ever sweet.

standing here all alone.
just as such sets a dreary tone.

pieces of me she just up and threw away.

that is why it's a sad day.

I liked this poem: succinct and yet packed with emotion, not an easy task!

very emotional, it hurts so to lose a friend.
