Whispers

Whispers in the darkness shedding light
as my tired body snuggles into bed.
Decisions lurking through my mind
failing to reach a destination.

People screaming as my indecisiveness
plays with their organization.
Up, down all around
when will my senses hear the whispers
so the light can penetrate the darkness?

Dreamer, you have woven few words into an excellent description of a difficult emotion. Very well done.

Oh Lawrd have mercy ! The 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th lines you wrote, are the story of my life right now!! WOW, can I relate! Don't you hate that? I struggle with it daily right now, trying to make decisions, and everyone seems to be so "anxious" for me to get my life in order! It's not something you can do and decide overnight! It takes a long time to screw your life up - you certainly can't blink your eyes, and get it straight in an instant! hehe I am so glad I read this...it really made sense to me!

Very well done, LD. You have certainly portrayed indecisiveness very well! You seem to have a talent to say much with few words!

How true this is for me at this time. I'm terrible at making decisions usually - more so now - thanks for putting it so beautifully!

Ruth: Thanks a bunch, your so kind.

Balladeer:Thank you so very much.

PoetFemmeFatale:Glad you enjoyed it, this is always me I never know what I'm doing till the last minute so it messes with everyone's lives associated with me. I'm lucky they are all so patient to still wait for my decision when it finally comes.

Marge: Thank you kindly for your reply

dsnyder: My thanks to you for your kind words.

Nan: That's usally what it comes down to when I get done hem and hawing it to death.

Poet deVine:Thank you for enjoying and relating to this poem.
