His mother was an acorn,
His dad a coconut,
They named their first born Justa,
And so was Justa Nut.
He had no arms, he had no legs,
In fact was just a head,
When he went to sleep each night,
A shoebox was his bed.
He grew up fine, his parent's proud,
At last was twenty-one,
I'll take you out to celebrate,
Said dad to nutty son.
They went out to the corner bar,
To give son his first drink,
Placed son's head up on the bar,
A beer will do I think.
Justa took a sip of Coors,
A miracle did happen,
As he drank, a torso grew,
Bar patrons started clappin',
Another sip and arms appeared,
The father was amazed,
Son chugged the rest and legs did sprout,
Bar patrons were all crazed.
Justa jumped down off the bar,
Yelled out in joyous voice,
I'm running home to tell my mom,
Oh how she will rejoice.
Justa Nut ran out the door,
Into the busy street,
Right in the path of speeding truck,
His maker he did meet.
As father knelt by fallen son,
and found that he was dead,
Was heard to cry, you should have quit,
When you were justa head.

Haven't heard that one in many a year. Great retelling of a classic.

PS. I left you something under What Happened...

Sheesh... someone tries to write some serious, dramatic poetry and they get responses like this...
visualing this poor nut on the street,
oh twell, sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't.
Andrew my pretty.... I went through the car wash and spent an extra quarter on waterproofing...

Witchy Poo, There's a reason why sometimes you feel like a nut it's cause you are a nut. Heck of a nut story you told here, I hope you know that beer truely can't make you grow body parts it's only in the head.
