I Didn't Know ... ~Marge Tindal~ 1999 Is that my name? Is that my picture? I see my life in the glowing obit. Why didn't they tell me while I was living it? Why are these people crying? Why they are saying the nicest things to me now that I'm well past dying. I didn't mean to leave them guilt, for they did not know my pain. If I had it to repeat I'd not do it again. For now that I'm gone they've convinced me that they really did, love me for just who I was, not for the things I kept hid. Too late. I'm gone. Do not let my pain live on. Cry your tears, but please know, if I had it to do all over again I'd try so hard not to. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *Joining others in the outreach. Marge, the one thing I love about your poetry - is that everything I read has such a strong uplifting message behind it - that's what is awesome.....I don't believe I've read one piece yet, that didn't scream out a positive thought !! (as far as getting others to think!)
