A Little Walk

Would you like to take a walk?
The path is long not wide.
But it could be a pleasant trip
if we were side by side.
Would you care to spend the time
just learning how to live,
finding out what we could have
and what we have to give?
I would like to take a walk
right to eternity.
But, if you can not go that far
then please don't walk with me.

The walk through time of which you speak
Seperates the strong from weak
Many will walk when paths are clear
Though in rough times, they will not dare
But those who love us will abide
And hand in hand walk by our side
Dispite the wind, the snow the rain
Until we find our way again
