To survive ANY heartache
by Miss Abagail Mannering

To Survive ANY heartache-
you must bow your head for a moment,
and shed your salty tears....
Then file away your memories
and work to conquer fears...

Lift your head up high,
eventhough your heart is low...
watch the birdies fly,
and see the roses grow...

You may feel there is no one,
that cares for you at all..
but into every life,
a little pain must fall...

And when you feel you're drowndin'
that life's dark, and there's no hope in sight...
let someone throw a lifesaver
and shed a little light.

So, when your feelin' desolate,
tht there's no reaon left to life,
think of the people you've met,
and the comfort they can give..

Though you may strain to see tomorrow,
through today's darkness and dimay,
you must throw off this coat of sorrow
and live for a brighter day.

We have but one life to live,
and we must learn to live it well..
for only once apon this earth
are we inclined to dwell...

So, bow your head for a moment
and shed your salty tears...
then file away your memories,
and work to conquer fears!

(written after i had decided to live...after i decided to take charge...March 1998)

Well said, and the garden can only take so much watering...
