Dear friends, God has made a plan for me Which follow I as best I see He's given love, He's given grace And held me steady in my place And posting as I'm writing phrase I see my life in many ways Before a screen a whole new world A world of poetry unfurled And more content I've never been for poetry has been my friend But now I'm weak and I must rest And leave you all and test the test No longer can I sit with you And share the joys and joys anew Too weak to sit, too weak to talk This one who round the world did walk This one who flew the azure sky On wings of bird just last July Who didn't know til months ago A new desease would leave her so But I will try as best I can To rest the rest and write again And I'll be back,as soon as soon And sing a song and write a tune For you my friends, a glorious gift My weary spirit do uplift So laugh a laugh and joke a joke Eat a pretzel drink a coke And stare at your computer screen And wish a wish and dream a dream And able as and able might My heart will still continue write And maybe I can't sit and see But son will print your poems for me And bet a nickel, bet a dime I'll be back in shorter time Perhaps a month or week to take Perhaps an hour I'll be in shape See you soon! That we have shined a little light Gives pefect meaning to this site That we have helped a friend in need We'll count as our most noble deed. You say that you are happy for The laughter, friendship, love and more That you have had the chance to share With Passion poets everywhere. Well, let me tell you, my sweet miss, The simple, honest truth is this.. The day you came to join the rest, WE are the ones who have been blessed! The beauty of your poetry Brings joy to all, including me. The simple way you coin a phrase Can please us in so many ways. Our site here is an entity Composed of personalities All bound together in one goal To bring a smile and soothe the soul. When you laugh, you'll hear us laugh, too When you hurt, we'll hurt just like you. When you're sick, sick is what we feel When you're well, then we all will heal.
