A hundred paths and not a clue
you push me, I just spin around
Frost was lucky, just with two
neither one was college bound

Confusion everyone expected
at least thatís what you try to say
I fear some roads I have neglected
And yet you pointed me that way

Looking off into the distance
searching for some type of closure
every second offers resistance
struggle to retain composure

asking strangers for advice
every path I have explored
close my eyes and roll the dice
take a breath and stumble forward

Kevin, I know these times of life can be quite stressful. What to be, what to do, where to go...Relax! (I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up!)

Here's a little piece for you from
'Waiting' by John Borroughs

Serene, I fold my hands and wait,
Nor care for wind nor tide nor sea;
I rave no more 'gainst time or fate,
For lo! my own shall come to me.

I stay my haste, I make delays -
For what avails this eager pace?
I stand amid the eternal ways
And what is mine shall know my face....

The stars come nightly to the sky;
The tidal wave unto the sea;
Nor time, nor space, nor deep, nor high,
Can keep my own away from me.
_________
I wish you the best as you wade through life!

Kevin,

Listen to the advice, if only to get some sort of perspective

Make your own decisions, right or wrong you learn from everyone

This is one of the best times of your life.

You may not realize it though, until you look back on it.

Best of luck to you

Take the risks for the thrill, play it safe when you know you should.
